Our Next Event
The next event in which we will participate, is a dream come true. Will take place the days 16 to 19 October, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Austin, Texas. There's going to be about the 40 best teams in the world compete side by side. It goes to be one world finals as well as disputed, with all the teams who want to ensure the presence in the podium.
Is the biggest Educational Project worldwide, sponsored by direction of Formula 1 and by several of the most influential Universities on the planet.
The F1 in Schools is a multidisciplinary challenge, in which students employ software CAD/CAM to cooperate, to conceive, to analyse, to construct, to test and later to run with miniatures of Fórmula 1´s constructed in wood raft and powered compressed Co2.
The challenge inspires the students to use new technologies for the learning of physics, aerodynamics, conception, construction, development of marks, graphics, sponsorships, marketing, work of team/leadership, abilities of communication and financial strategy, applying them on form practice, imaginative and competitive.
Goals
After we win the portuguese nacional final 2016, the next destination is Austin. The batten went up and now the aims are others, more complex. The team is felt prepared to face all the challenges and hopes to leave a mark in this World Final.
In the leadership of the team, Rui’s main function is coordination and
cooperation with all members in order to facilitate and organize all methods of work. This season Rui took the role of graphic designer.
With his great capacity of leadership and creativity in the innovation area, the team is ready to win.

Alexandre is the responsible for all the process of conception, not only of the car, as also the Stand and acquisition of the all kind of materials that team needs; ensuring a good performance of all members during the entire project.
As Manufacturing Engineer, his determination, persistence and attention to all details, are decisive for success.
